New definitions, higher compensation, mandatory policies, and retroactive application of the law. This is a complete overhaul of the regulations. We show you what needs to be done and where to start.
Date and format:August 6, 2026 · 11:00 AM · online webinar · 90 min · free
Why attend?
Parliament has passed an amendment to the Labor Code regarding the prevention of mobbing and discrimination. The bill is now with the President. The changes are significant:
- New definitions of mobbing and discrimination - more behaviors will now fall under these categories.
- Stricter employer liability - including higher minimum compensation thresholds.
- Mandatory policy for employers with 10+ employees - to be agreed upon with unions or employee representatives.
- Focus on real prevention - a policy alone is not enough; what matters is whether and how you implement it.
- Partial retroactive application - the regulations will cover behaviors that began before the law came into effect but continue afterward.
The result: a likely increase in reports and legal disputes, leading to significantly higher risk for employers.
What you will learn during the webinar
- How definitions are changing and what this means for day-to-day HR practice.
- What elements the new regulations must include and the procedure for adopting them.
- How to plan the process involving unions / employee representatives within the 6-month deadline.
- How to assign internal responsibilities: prevention, detection, response, and victim support.
- How to prepare training for management and the entire staff.
- What to do right now to stay on track — concrete first steps.
Who should attend
HR directors and specialists, legal and compliance departments, management, and business owners with 10+ employees.
